This solution consists of an Intel Xeon Dual Processor (DP) Platform, Microsoft Windows* 2000 Server, and Neatware Myrmeco XP Studio.
Intel Xeon Dual Processor (DP) is 2.4GHz with 512K cache and 533MHz bus. They are Hyper-Threading (HT) enable which act as two virtual processors in one Xeon chip. The E7501 chipset in the motherboard allows 533MHz in bus and fast SCSI for harddisk access. The 2U Rack supports to 6 hotswap disks that allow you to add harddisk without turn off the server.
The motherboard is from Supermicro, a high quality server motherboard manufacturer.
Windows Server 2001 is the widely used operating system for server from Microsoft. The optional Red Hat Linux 8.0 is a cost saveing operating system in unix clone.
