Ladybug Studio XP is a powerful toolkit to design, code, and test simulations on new programmable GPU with mCL language. Below paragraphs describe the possible applications.

1. Ray-tracing

   Light rays were traced back from an object.

2. Radiosity

   Radiosity renders objects based on the computing of light reflections off diffuse surfaces.

3. Photon tracing

   In Photon tracing, light rays traced back not only from an object, but they are also traced forward from the light sources around the scene. It requires huge amount of computing.

4. Thermodynamic simulations

   Thermodynamic simulations try to solve complex equations and display graphical models.

5. Physical process simulations

   Using HLSL implements filtering algorithms for data sampling. The large-scale weather simulations are one of an application.
